The Secret Organization is set to make a major impact in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, although the major clash won’t take place until the third season, and a beloved, popular member has now been chosen.
The platform declared recently that the talented performer has joined the One Piece season 3 cast and will portray Bentham. The role can use their power to change into an exact copy of anyone they’ve laid a hand on with their right hand. The actor, who is non-binary and goes by they/them, will depict a rendition of that figure reinterpreted as non-binary identifying, instead of as a drag performer, in the live-action series, unlike the original manga and animated series.
This performer joins several other fresh additions set to bring the organization to life, including head Sir Crocodile, brought to life by Joe Manganiello, an emerging star as a key member, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who is also part of the lineup as the ruler of the desert kingdom.
Even though the role is a major member of the group, the character won’t appear until One Piece season 3. With the second season expected to adapt the Little Garden segment, this signals a major departure in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could suggest further changes to the plot development.
The actor’s combination of excellent comedic sense and emotional depth makes them a standout choice for the role. In addition to their current animated role in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and multiple awards for penning and acting in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, highlighting the adaptability they’ll add to one of One Piece’s widely praised roles.
The platform’s adapted One Piece show is due to premiere for its next installment on March 10th, 2026.
