Police have released concerning video showing a driver performing risky drifting maneuvers around a traffic circle during an unauthorized car meet, placing watching crowds at grave danger of harm.
A 23-year-old from Southampton received a 27-week prison sentence, deferred for 12 months, after admitting to reckless operation of a vehicle.
Additionally, the judge imposed a 12-month driving ban and mandated community service along with a rehabilitation program.
According to police officials, the recording was captured at an unauthorized automobile gathering in the city on December 28th, 2024, showing the driver driving a distinctive colored vehicle.
“This footage demonstrates the alarming moment when a dangerous driver skidded on a traffic circle at an unauthorized vehicle event, as spectators looked on despite the risk of severe harm.”
